Well I know that I have not posted here in a while. The new job is running me wild, but I just had to expound on this topic again.
Our bodies run on Calories. With the current type of work that we do do it takes approximately 1500 calories to run the “average” woman’s body, and 2000 calories to run the “average” mans body. There is a really wide variance on this, but this is the average. This does not take into account any exercise at all.
Our bodies were designed to run on 4-6000 calories a day. Back when we were all farmers, or did manual labor for a living we were able to eat this quantity of calories. This was also when we grew most of our own food, and the nutrient value was so much greater than the food that we get in the grocery today.
What I am trying to say is that we are literally starving ourselves to death from a nutritional standpoint. We feed ourselves plenty of calories. There is no doubt about that. 77% of Americans are overweight, 34% of Americans are obese. The cost to the country is staggering because of this. The body is designed to take care of itself when give proper nutrition, but we are not doing that.
Fruits and Vegetables are so important to our diet, yet as a whole the American public does not consume near the quantity they should. Then we put ourselves on diets to lose weight, and further diminish our nutrition.
This is why I feel that the Monavie juice is such an important part of a health and nutritious diet. I am also so pumped about the RVL weight management product, because it is a 600 calorie program that has the nutritional equivalent of 5000+ calories of food. When added to a excercise program, and a Moderate evening meal you will lose weight and NOT hurt your body, because it does not have enough nutrients to properly run itself.
RVL has all the Micro, Macro and Phido nutrients that are needed to run your body on a daily basis. I feel that even folks that done need to loose weight should replace one meal a day with a RVL shake just to increase their nutrition levels.
